I Hate Exams notepad sold in Popular $2.90 each

exams are upon us in 2 weeks time. Many are grumbling and moaning but i say just get through it smoothly and forget it once its done. I realize i got a hole underneath my basketball shoes, that sucks, but it made the shoe lighter so im not complaining that much. Did a research on shoe prices and holy schamoly one pair costs around $130 - $160 ( rounded up )...i do save every week, ya know, arnd 5 each week, 10 if im lucky, but to get that kind of dough means uber thriftiness man... i dunno if i can get any thriftier than im already am ( for those who know me since Year 1, you know what im like then ) . I've toned down since my pre-pubescent period, but it seems like im gonna have to tone down even more. i got a smile on my face the other night when US plays against China... 100 sumthin to 60 sumthin can't remember but the point is my favourite player D-Wade got the most points in the team, 18 points...followed by LeBron James, then Kobe and Dwight Howard. China would've gotten less if not for Yao Ming and the other tall guy I cant remember his name. And i found this great vid of this great guy

Beijing Fever

The olympics is here, after four years of preparation, Beijing set off the grand worldly-event in smashing style. The fireworks were fantastic. The event im looking out for is basketball mostly, and USA smashed their way through the prelims. Lithuania and Russia was bowed out and they played around with Canadians. Seems like the USA is gonna dominate against China as well, but they're putting up a strong fight. Sadly, mediacorp deem other events more important, and only show clips of the basketball mathces...a pity... i wanna see d-wade doing his stuff the most. Aniways, found this funny vid on youtube =)

its been awhile since i posted.. went through a few tests, celebrated a birthday and got a few other random things done in these past week. actually, im just here to post the new harrypotter movie's trailer..

sad tale with a happy ending

hey here's a tale i thought up in the bus on the way home.

a handsome cold hearted boy and and a pretty warm hearted girl were fated to meet.
the boy, being the cold person he was, never acknowledged the girl's
presence. he was not being cruel, he was not being stupid. it's just the way
he was.
ever since the day they met the girl keeps asking herself how to thaw
that icy heart of the boy's. his icy glance, his chilly body language never
fail to freeze anyone who cross path with him. the girl thought of an idea,
a brilliant one, at least to her. image is the key, she said. maybe he's cold
towards me because of my plain appearance. so she disappeared for a few,
never telling anyone she knew, of what she was going to do.the boy, on the
other hand, misses her presence with every passing moment. no one knew
this of course, because the boy's poker face was impeccable. but deep inside
his heart, something strange is happening. he started to search for her. this
never happened before. the more he searched, the more anxious he grew.
for he couldn't find her anywhere. days become weeks, weeks become months,
months become years. for two years he looked for her, ever vigilant in his
search for the only he ever loved. yes, love. that is the strange feeling
in his cold, icy heart. in the third month of the second year, she appeared.
the boy, not noticing it was her, dismissed her as just another girl, pretty though
she was. the girl's confidence was marred by the abrupt dismissal from the boy,
and felt crushed. what should she do? is her change not good enough? she decided,
to hell with it, and made a 360 degree turn in her life. she became normal again.
she confronted the boy, with anger and fear in her heart. the boy, seeing the girl
for the first time after two years and three months, never felt happier in his
entire life. with all the feelings and emotions he had for her, he kissed her full in the
mouth. the girl was sweetly shocked by the boy's changed attitude. never in her life
has she been kissed with such sweetness, such tenderness. she couldn't feel the ice
surrounding the boy anymore. in short, they live happily as a couple forever after. the end.

it's a simple story, im sure ppl have read similar stories before. i just like it.

this song just encompass all the feelings i feel at one point of my life. it stuck to me since then. n, though i hate to admit it, but tom really brings out the true emotions of this song perfectly.
