im in the wrong place,seriously

as the title suggests, im gonna rant about being in the wrong place at the wrong time. so here's the low down. im doing IT, in nyp. big deal, so do alot of ppl. but the thing is im not made to this programming crap. My brain just can't handle it. it's not that im stupid or anything, i just can't do it! recently my piano teacher told me that i can get my diploma at an earlier stage. im not braggin or anything, but she said i've got the capabilities to do so. but that means keeping my focus only on playing the piano and nothing else. and im doing double project in this semester. FUCK. not only im not gonna do ok for the projects, my diploma test is gonna be delayed big time. see how school screwed my life?! i've talked to my parents about leaving school, but they told me to keep at it no matter what cuz like it's nearly gonna be finished anyways, so, ok fine. it's gonna be a dark few months.

OMG!

holy shit...im gonna be in another financial crisis soon if i dont stop my habit..haiz...wish my mom would give me more green. my girl came over ytd and watched The Ring with me. The things is, the movie didn't look like the one tt i watched years ago. It just seem so different. there's no girl climbing outta the well...the ghost girl didn't scratched lines on the wall...maybe those scenes got cut. Maybe it's a different movie all together. Whatever it was, it left me disappointed after a boring 2 hrs. watching superband nowadays if i got time. one band tt caught my attention is 异世界, or Lucify's lookalike is wat i call em. Looks aside, they're good. They show some remarkable musicianship and showmanship up on stage. Mayday came to support the event by playing a few songs. They call themselves a rock band, but i beg differ. They're pop, not rock. now tt my mom is not here..i can do a few stuff tt was previously banned in my house, like...having friends over, play guitar and my piano all day long, skipping school if i want to, stuff like tt. My man kelvin came over the other day. it's like we're 17 all over again. We thrashed my house again, the bathroom specifically, im nt gg into details here, but lets juz say i dont make a good plumber. we made a song, and named it "life right now", still working on it. basically it's a song about our life right now, hence the name. i like it. well, since its the weekend im juz gg to slack all day long, since im gg to have splitting headaches starting monday, courtesy of fyp. its the 1st month tomorrow for me and her =) i hope the weather's gg to be fine. tt's all i guess. peace V out.

Heart Aflame

been through the first week of my fyp doin alot of things..mainly surfing the net, watchin movies, playing games, and... a little bit of coding, which worked by the way. Anyways, these few days have been great for me, and i hope, for her...get my drift?haha. she's making balloons in her office, dont ask me y.., anyways, im not attracted to balloons in this stage of my life, bt im reminded of my balloon phobia..a balloon bigger than my head exploded in my arms when i was aroudn 4 years old. yea, tt's why i got balloon phobia. Anyways, i got a new piano now..it's brown in colour..sounds good...gonna use it to make new jam material. It's been a year since i touched a piano, bt i found out i havent lost my skills, so step back ppl, cuz ima kill. nt really.haha XD. o, my mom bought a guinea pig and brought it home. I named it Wik. I was gonna go for Altair, but my mom said it sounds too wierd. What's so weird about Altair? i mean, ok, it came from around 1400 a.d. bt it sounds cool, no? it's meaning is good too, the flying one. Talking about names, i've come up with a few names for my future kids. Boy: Altair, Azriel, El-Kana. Girl: El-Hanah, Elianor, Deliah. I dunno y i even bothered thinking about it, it juz came to my head one day. I dont want my kids to have normal names like er..Jonathan, David, or even mordern names like Jerrick, Harvey. No way. My dad got a special name, Y~usak. My name is Abraham. not uncommon, bt sounds special anyhow. so my son's or my daughter's gotta have special names too.

so i've landed in fyp...i've had a bad impression of fyp ever since i found out that i'd only got like 4 days of hols from the end of exam to the start of this boring ass situation. It seems to me that fypj stands for For-Your-Personal-Judgement...some ppl may like it, like those working on the nintendo wii..some may have neutral feelings, like those already have sumthing to do, able to do it, but juz draggin the time so that they can slack more, and there are those in the other exteme end, ppl like me, whose bloody supervisor hasn't come around yet and it has already been like 3 days now..slack play games, memorize song lyrics, eat, chat, blog, sleep repeat. i mean, for christ sakes man, i dun get paid to come here to slack but i must. they want me to slack they might as well give me the permission to slack my ass off at home. I think i'll be more productive at home. ok enough of the dark side of things. My room's actually pretty good, so is my seat. I feel i've got the best seats in the whole of cohort. lol to those sitting in the window seats near the corridor. cant wait for fri, not only because its the last school day of the week. I kinda stopped playin my ps2 these days. It's not like i've got no time. the drive isn't juz there anymore. To think that i told my mom in my early teens that this drive of mine will last forever haha. Got napha trainin everyday tues nw. i dunno if i should pull outta napha, considering i cant do the pull ups due to my weak left-hand. some smart monkey told me to pull 1-handed, like dat's ever gonna happen lol. it's humanly possible though. i was juz jking abt the monkey thing. haha. u knw wat, this is kinda a long post. think i'll end it here. peace \/

I Hate Exams notepad sold in Popular $2.90 each

exams are upon us in 2 weeks time. Many are grumbling and moaning but i say just get through it smoothly and forget it once its done. I realize i got a hole underneath my basketball shoes, that sucks, but it made the shoe lighter so im not complaining that much. Did a research on shoe prices and holy schamoly one pair costs around $130 - $160 ( rounded up )...i do save every week, ya know, arnd 5 each week, 10 if im lucky, but to get that kind of dough means uber thriftiness man... i dunno if i can get any thriftier than im already am ( for those who know me since Year 1, you know what im like then ) . I've toned down since my pre-pubescent period, but it seems like im gonna have to tone down even more. i got a smile on my face the other night when US plays against China... 100 sumthin to 60 sumthin can't remember but the point is my favourite player D-Wade got the most points in the team, 18 points...followed by LeBron James, then Kobe and Dwight Howard. China would've gotten less if not for Yao Ming and the other tall guy I cant remember his name. And i found this great vid of this great guy

Beijing Fever

The olympics is here, after four years of preparation, Beijing set off the grand worldly-event in smashing style. The fireworks were fantastic. The event im looking out for is basketball mostly, and USA smashed their way through the prelims. Lithuania and Russia was bowed out and they played around with Canadians. Seems like the USA is gonna dominate against China as well, but they're putting up a strong fight. Sadly, mediacorp deem other events more important, and only show clips of the basketball mathces...a pity... i wanna see d-wade doing his stuff the most. Aniways, found this funny vid on youtube =)

sad tale with a happy ending

hey here's a tale i thought up in the bus on the way home.

a handsome cold hearted boy and and a pretty warm hearted girl were fated to meet.
the boy, being the cold person he was, never acknowledged the girl's
presence. he was not being cruel, he was not being stupid. it's just the way
he was.
ever since the day they met the girl keeps asking herself how to thaw
that icy heart of the boy's. his icy glance, his chilly body language never
fail to freeze anyone who cross path with him. the girl thought of an idea,
a brilliant one, at least to her. image is the key, she said. maybe he's cold
towards me because of my plain appearance. so she disappeared for a few,
never telling anyone she knew, of what she was going to do.the boy, on the
other hand, misses her presence with every passing moment. no one knew
this of course, because the boy's poker face was impeccable. but deep inside
his heart, something strange is happening. he started to search for her. this
never happened before. the more he searched, the more anxious he grew.
for he couldn't find her anywhere. days become weeks, weeks become months,
months become years. for two years he looked for her, ever vigilant in his
search for the only he ever loved. yes, love. that is the strange feeling
in his cold, icy heart. in the third month of the second year, she appeared.
the boy, not noticing it was her, dismissed her as just another girl, pretty though
she was. the girl's confidence was marred by the abrupt dismissal from the boy,
and felt crushed. what should she do? is her change not good enough? she decided,

has she been kissed with such sweetness, such tenderness. she couldn't feel the ice
surrounding the boy anymore. in short, they live happily as a couple forever after. the end.

i've been interested in horoscopes and zodiacs since god knows when.. but haven't got down to findin out the exact meanin of mine. im a pisces btw. a fish. supposedly a dolphin. =) aniways... it's the twelfth symbol. pisces r usually born between feb 19 ~ march 20. i fall nicely in between, march 12.
there are certain traits normally found in us fishes.. we're gentle, good natured, likable, sensitive, imaginative, artistically able, naive, escapist and selfless. i agree with a few of them, especially imaginative. i dream alot. but naive? i don't think so... selfless... sometimes... escapist ..YES! i usually stand near the EXIT sign. we fishes tend to go with flow... sayin ok to somethings we don't even agree with, just to escape from future predicaments. but the bottom line is, i don't put to much stock in this horoscope thing. it's juz something im interested in. oh, pisces is also associated with Helen of Troy - Beauty and Love. guess we fishes r just beautiful xD

funny thing happened this morning on the bus ... i was standing ( a norm for 159 in the mornings )... yea, so i was standing and a lady who sits on a seat adjacent to my position was going to alight. So, i sorta turned my body sideways to let her pass. What i didn't know was that an ahma behind me was trying to get pass me to alight the bus too. i was listening to music at that time, so my point of focus ( entirely visual ) was to the front of me only. i guess while waiting for the lady to get pass me i sorta pissed the ahme off by standing in front of her, and, im guessing only, i didn't hear her saying "excuse me". so she shouldered past me, while looking at me with glaring eyes, and i was like, what the hell? what did i do? i like to use my mp3 as a distraction to the outside world. motto of the hour is me, myself and no one else. Guess the whole ordeal's kinda funny now that i think about it, but it pissed me off in the mornings. im so not a morning guy. some say a teenager's not fully human till midday. i totally agree. physically moving but mentally sleepin, moving through the crowd utilizing only my senses and subconsciousness. sometimes i got no recollection of the happenings in between the journey from point A to point B. in the mornings. so not cool.

living in a turmoil is a very sad...but that's just how it is for me. My grades didn't pick up, the band didn't make it, my facial complexion's down in hell, my boss keeps up the pressure and i'm out of cash. the only thing going for me right now is my mom, basketball, my guitar and my close friends. whatever it is im still feeling like hell these few days. i didn't show it on my face, but that's the way it is. but i spotted a tiny light in these dark times. it's still far away, out of reach, but i would like to it. it makes me feel warm and light inside.

magnum opus pt1.

i wish a tornado will just appear in Singapore and destroy this tiny island. No, make that a series of tornadoes. One tornado for each region ( north, south, east, west ). Kill everyone of us and make this world a better place. Of course there will be resistance, but in my story everyone dies, except me. Then i will travel this land alone, my power unmatched and unrivaled in this desolate place. At this point it sounds like a scene from the movie I Am Legend. In my story, however, there's no zombie-like humans who couldn't go out to the sunlight or some shit like that. There's just me. everything on this tiny island is for me to control. the first thing i would do is go to town and get some new threads. since the mrt's down, i would have to walk...or find a bike or motorcycle, or if im lucky, a car. i would go to town. get some new threads. then i'll visit the Istana beside Plaza Singapura. Now that's something people don't get to see everyday. the inside of the istana. of course, the whole place is destroyed, but it doesn't matter. the front door stands strong against the wild wind. Opening the door, im welcomed with more ruble... and dead faces. people who had been trapped inside and buried under the ruble and debris. a woman's face attracted my attention. her face is not so much dead but alive. but she's dead alright. no breath, no pulse on her neck, nothing. but her face shines with vatility. i reached out to close her dead eyes.... to be cont'd.

due to my new line of work, im now seeing a few people in a different light. First and foremost kudos to my uncle. He's helped my family alot through hard times and due to recent events, he's gone up to top 10 on my list of favourite people. And my mom who recently showed that im actually a poor kid who have to beg for money weekly ( sigh ... but that's gonna change real soon ). A friend of mine said to me that F&B is a line of work where you gain alot of experience and meet alot of different types of people. I just nodded my head and gave a noncommittal 'ah', but i personally feel that experience, though different in every line of work, will be gained and different types of people would be met no matter what line of work you're in. Since it's been a long time since i posted, guess i'll make this quite a long one. Im now quite into japanese dramas due to the influence of my mom, and i kinda like 'em. One actress that leaves a deep impression on me is Maki Horikita. Call me a fanboy, but i like her. Here's a picture of her.

as a guy who have gone through different phases of his life, i realised that having a girlfriend is really tough on people our age. Romantics may openly disagree with me here at this point by sayin love is all they want and ever need to carry them through their lives, but here's the real deal. the following is based on people whose age range between 16 - 24.


1) emotionally unstable


2) financially unstable ( it doesn't matter if you have a part time job or not, you'll still be short of dough )


3) mentally unstable ( mostly for guys, but there are a few chicks in this category )


all these instability will, though not all the time, lead to one thing : offspring. guys will rush their gfs for sex and dump them as soon as they got some. And then they'll tell their friends that they miss their ex. Weird huh?


btw, im still lookin for one right now. And it's for long-term, not just a two-week stand.

The BoogyMan

Since I was young and innocent, i view the boogyman as the scariest thing to walk the dark fantasy earth, beating the werewolves and ghosts to become #1. But as i grow older, maturity sets in like the high tide, and I know sooner or later, the Boogyman will no longer haunt me. I've got nothing to do and just staring at it when a realization hit me. Just look at our clothes. Starting from the right, Kazu with a white shirt on. And then there's me, wearing a white t-shirt with some green stripes ( noticed anything? ). Then there's Kelvin, wearing a not-completely black t-shirt with some designs at the front which is white in colour. Last but not least, there's Fariq, wearing all black ( well, not entirely true, but he's got more black than the rest of ours ). It's like looking at an painter's palete who only wanna paint in black and white, with a mix of green. Pretty funky huh? Guess now you must be thinking you've just wasted your time reading this stuff. =x

Art is a killer

attention please! Singapore will taken over by a wave of street art that will be, at first, seen as terrorism and the like. But, i don't care, cuz it's not terrorism ( duh! ). Those narrow-minded people can kiss my ass while recoiling in fear of the art. This campaign will be slow, but steady. Hope people will appreciate it. ice cold baby

so i was doin a presentation yesterday, something i figure i do pretty well in by the way... yea, so i was up there with my group and all that, ready to do what im pretty good in, when suddenly ice cold wind from the a/c blew into my throat and brain. I was like, what the fuck is wrong with me? My usually-fluent presentation speech and vocabulary went clear out the window. So there I was blabbing. Blabbing man..shit...I never do that before in my entire life..like i got ducks in my throat. So I screwed up my part with lousy performance, my other group mates didn't really do that good either, so fuck that a/c man. The school should do somethin about it. I obviously not gonna care what...just somethin. But anyways, that presentation only carries participation marks, no big deal about it, but seriously...that a/c was....damn. Gotta bring a jacket next time.

i don't remember where i heard this tune from, so
like i played this from memory...i think it's kinda nice, here goes...
i played it using an electric guitar so it's not really clean
best heard through acoustic i guess...
it's basically starts with 7th chord on the 6th string
then goes down to the 3rd chord on the 6th string
then 5th chord on the 6th string
and then 5th chord on the 5th string
then a variation, which is followed by 3rd chord on the 6th string
with a variation... i dunwanna put the tabs here cuz i don't wanna
dabble with html right now...just see the vid and figure out the strumming
and picking and the variations by yourself...it's not that hard...
a trick to the last variation is to let the 6th string ring after the first strumming
and concentrate on the 4th string...also the placing of your fingers is important
otherwise the variation will be masked by the sound of the 6th string

Word of Apology

I believe that everyone in this world has his or her own beliefs, and they stick to it no matter what. I wanna apologise to anyone whose beliefs had been violated by what i say and I hope the offended party will realize that i said what i said because i felt at that point that my own beliefs were being compromised. But there is no excuses to cover the fact that i did, offensively, made a comment on another's belief. I wanna apologize to anyone who was affected by what i say, and hope that we cool on this cuz I don't want to make a dent in our relationship. I realized each of us have our own beliefs and ideals in our life and it's wrong to flip the bird at others when theirs do not communicate well with ours. I hope ,by this apology, that my sincerity is felt by the offended party and hope they wash their hands of this case and we can move on with our lives.
